FAQ & Troubleshooting
Do I need to run the SQL by hand?
No. The resource auto-creates and upgrades every orb_* table on startup (idempotent, non-destructive). Just make sure oxmysql is configured.
Which frameworks are supported?
QBox (qbx_core), ESX (es_extended) and QBCore (qb-core) — auto-detected (qbx → esx → qb). Force it with set orb-phone:framework "qbx" if you run more than one core.
Is ox_inventory required?
No — recommended but optional. Without it the phone falls back to the framework inventory (qb-inventory and forks on QBCore, native on ESX). Item access is plug-and-play either way.
The phone won't open / shows "No SIM".
The player needs the phone item and must use it once from the inventory to generate the number. Then press F1.
F1 does nothing.
F1 is rebindable in FiveM → Settings → Key Bindings. Confirm the client is ready: F8 should show [orb-phone] client ready.
Camera doesn't capture photos.
Run ensure screenshot-basic before orb-phone and set orb-phone:camera_webhook. Without it, Camera is gallery-only.
Calls or Live don't connect.
Video calls and Orbgram Live are plug-and-play (frame-relay, no STUN/TURN). If video is unavailable, the call still works through the screenshot-basic fallback.
Can I change the language?
Set the server default with orb-phone:locale (en/es/fr/pt); each player can override it in Settings → Display → Language.
Can I share a number across a player's characters?
Yes — set Config.PhoneBinding = 'account'. It falls back to per-character if the framework can't resolve an account id.
Garage says "location not available".
The vehicle's garage name isn't in Config.Garages. Add it (key = garage name, lowercased, no spaces) with coords for your map.
