FiveM Script Translator

A FiveM script talks to players through its locale files. This tool reads a resource's locale files for free in your browser, then translates them into any of 52 languages, locking every %s, ~r~ and {variable} so the script keeps working, and hands the resource back ready to drop into your server.

Bought a script that only speaks English? Drop the resource in and it reads its locale files right away, in your browser: which files there are, their format, how many strings, which languages the script already ships and which lines carry variables. Then pick a language and ORBIE, our AI, translates it, with every %s, ~r~ and {variable} locked before translating and checked after, and you download the resource back. Your glossary is saved to your account, so every script you translate uses the same words.

How it works

  1. 1

    Drop in the resource

A zip of the resource or its locale files. ESX, QBCore and Qbox, ox_lib JSON and plain Lua tables are recognised, and the files are read in your browser.

  2. 2

    Read the analysis, free

How many strings each file has, which languages the script already ships, and which lines carry variables that would break it if a translation changed them.

  3. 3

Set the glossary and try a sample

Decide once how your server says words like stash, dispatch or impound. A sample of 10 strings costs 1 credit, so you can check the tone before translating everything.

  4. 4

    Translate and download

Each language costs 2 credits. The translated file goes back into the resource and you download it as a zip, ready to drop in.

Features

Placeholders that cannot break

Every %s, %{name}, {0}, ~r~ and HTML tag is swapped for a token before the text reaches the AI and checked when it comes back. A translation that fails the check is not delivered and not charged.

A glossary that follows you

Your terms are saved per language in your account and used on every script you translate. For Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Polish, Dutch, Turkish and Russian it starts filled in with what FiveM servers in that language say.

52 languages

From Spanish, Portuguese and French to Arabic, Japanese and Korean, with Rioplatense and Mexican Spanish as languages of their own.

The analysis is free

Reading the resource costs nothing and runs in your browser, so you know whether a script is translatable, and how much of it there is, before you spend a credit.

Why not paste the strings into a translator

A general translator does not know that %s is a variable, that ~r~ is a colour code or that a key has to stay as it is, and one broken placeholder is enough for an error in game. It also turns stash into three different words across three scripts. This translator locks everything that is code, checks it after, and applies your glossary to every script, so your server reads the same from one menu to the next.

  • Free analysis before you spend anything
  • Variables and colour codes locked
  • One glossary for all your scripts
  • 52 languages, the resource back as a zip

Frequently asked questions

How do I translate a FiveM script?

Drop the resource here. Its locale files are read for free in your browser; pick the language, set your glossary if you want, and translate. You download the resource with the new locale file, ready to drop into your server.

Which script formats does it read?

ESX locale files, QBCore and Qbox locales, ox_lib JSON locales and scripts that keep their texts in a plain Lua table. If a script has no language files, the analysis tells you so.

Will the translation break my script?

It is built not to. Every placeholder is swapped for a token before translating and checked after, with the same count and kind in both directions. A translation that fails that check is not delivered and the credits come back.

How much does it cost?

The analysis is free. A sample of 10 strings costs 1 credit and a full translation costs 2 credits per language. Every account gets credits each month, the Free plan included, and a failed translation gives them back.

Is my script uploaded?

No. The resource is read in your browser. Only the strings being translated are sent, when you ask for the translation, and the result is kept for 24 hours after it is delivered so you can get it back if you left the page.
